The Future of Affordable Sustainable Housing

Gro Enterprises is a social enterprise looking to provide healthy, resilient and affordable housing units in underserved communities throughout the Gulf South for low and moderate income families and individuals.

The gulf south states of Louisiana and Mississippi face a need for over 200,000 additional affordable housing units over the next 5 years.

This new startup is focused on serving communities of color which deal with decades of disinvestment, health disparities, and a lack of economic development in order to provide opportunities in the burgeoning legal industrial hemp building industry. These housing units will provide more resiliency to moisture, mold, termites, lower energy costs, and improved indoor air quality in the built environment. Our development team is a representation of the communities we serve due to our emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
